Having sailed for most of my adult life, I retired (took a step back) from my company Atom Ltd. which continues in my absence, run by an excellent team of loyal employees. I now sail my Southerly 135 and crew on friends yachts (sail, power & canal) just enjoying being on the water. I still manage to find time to spend with my family, house and garden in Sunningdale.
I also 'nudge the tiller' at Atom on the odd occasion!

Thanks for the expensive advice. No consolation but even SS tanks would have buckled. It is good to know, though, that the tank failure was due to an external factor and not an inherent failure issue of plastic tanks.
