Well, it won a bottle of rum as the ‘Letter of the month’ but the picture they used for the instruments was clearly just an ‘archive instrument picture’ and I am not sure if those old instruments even had software to update!

Here is a picture of my instruments so the article makes more sense.

Having sailed for most of my adult life, I retired (took a step back) from my company Atom Ltd. which continues in my partial absence, producing really excellent work and run by a gifted team of loyal employees. I now sail my Southerly 135 and crew on friends yachts (sail, power & canal) just enjoying being on the water. I still manage to find time to ride my motorcycle and enjoy my family, house and garden in Sunningdale. I also 'nudge the tiller' at Atom , probably more often than really necessary!
