I have previously blogged about the burst water tank in Barcelona, my subsequent repair project in Nice and the ‘Confessional’ account that featured in Yachting Monthly. Suffice it to say that it was all the result of my impatience and unwillingness to sit, holding the hose in the tank to prevent it snaking around under the extreme water pressure.

This is what I, (the Company) came up with and we (Gandalf) designed and then 3D printed a tank filler adapter to retain the hose in place.

It features breather holes so that, should the water fill be too much for the overflow, it will vent out to avoid a build-up of pressure and a repeat of the Port Vell tank disaster.
I agree with Nick, great little device.
Great bit of kit. They would sell by the boat load. Worth their weight in gold.
Excellent idea. You could market that!
That’s a great little piece of kit, you could sell those and I’ll bet they’d be very popular.
Hope that works out for you!
good luck
