Having sailed for most of my adult life, I retired (took a step back) from my companies Atom and Thorp which continue in my partial absence, producing really excellent work and run by gifted teams of loyal employees. I now sail my Southerly 135 and crew on various friends yachts, just enjoying being on the water. Miss Bones

This letter was published in the Caribbean Compass in March 2016. It was written by Lynn Mines (my sister-in-law) following the rescue of an abandoned dog from Petit Nevis (between Bequia and Mustique) during our cruise through St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Cockpit lights

Easy cockpit lights with no wiring involved can be achieved by securing cheap LED lights on the spray hood/bimini/tent using rare earth button magnets.
